Crosscare Migrant Project (CMP) is an information and advocacy project for migrants. We also aim to affect positive change in migration related policy. We are looking for non-EEA nationals to become part of our ‘Policy Working Group’. This voluntary working group is part of our 3 year European Integration Fund project: ‘Migrant-led integration – participation, representation & action’.  In conjunction with the CMP Policy Officer the group will develop fresh and innovative participatory actions with the aim of making a real and positive change to the situation of immigrant integration in Ireland.  The group will meet at least four times a year and may also be asked to provide input between meetings. Suitable applicants will have a keen interest in or experience in migration/integration related policy.

The group will be made up of 4 to 8 participants. The first meeting of the ‘Policy Working Group’ will take place in March 2011. This project is funded by the Office of the Minister for Integration through the European Integration Fund which is administered by Pobal. Applications will be accepted until 5pm on Monday February 28th
