Temporary residency for vulnerable Syrian nationals

The Minister for Justice and Equality has introduced the Syrian Humanitarian Admission Programme (SHAP) to assist people affected by the Syrian conflict who have have close family members living in Ireland. Syrian nationals and people born in Syria who are now Irish citizens can apply for up to four family members to come live with them in Ireland for up to two years. 

The Syrian Humanitarian Admission Programme (SHAP) is open for applications up to 30th April 2014. It is aimed to have applications processed within 12 weeks. Applications should be made using the SHAP application form and sent with the required supporting documents to SHAP Application, PO Box 12079, Dublin 1.
