From Monday 10th May 2014 the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) will be issuing a new card as a Certificate of Registration with GNIB. If a person holds the existing GNIB certificate of registration card it is still valid until the date it is due to expire.
The new cards will be printed in batches at the GNIB offices in Burgh Quay. If you are a non-EEA national and you are registered with a GNIB local office in a district outside Dublin you continue to present at your local office to register. The new GNIB Certificate of Registration card will be printed in Dublin and sent to your local GNIB office for you to collect.
The GNIB office at 13-14 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2 will be closed from 3pm on Friday 9th May and will open again at 8am on Monday 12th May.
