New Communities Partnership and Dublin Employment Pact launch Work Experience Scheme

New Communities Partnership and Dublin Employment Pact are seeking applicants for the 2011 Work Experience Scheme Programme.

The programme is targeting Third Country Nationals living (legally residing) in specific areas of the Dublin Region for work experience in three Local Authorities: Dublin City Council,  Fingal County Council and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

Successful applicants will be placed in the Local Authority in whose administrative area they are residing.

The scheme will commence in June 2011 and the placement will last 10 weeks. All applications from people legally resident in Ireland and living in one of the above Local Authority areas will be considered. However, preference may be given to applicants who have come through the asylum process and/or have ‘leave to remain’ in Ireland. Participants are paid a fee of €70 per week to cover travel & subsistence expenses
