Crosscare Migrant Project is an information and advocacy project for migrants living in Ireland. We also work towards positive change in migration-related policy. In 2009 we launched this website: www.livinginireland.ie, which is available in English, Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese and Russian. We established a voluntary group, the Living in Ireland Website Group (LIIWG), to assist with the development of the website. Members of the LIIWG are migrants from different countries who are living in Ireland. Generally the LIIWG meets twice a year to discuss further developing the website and additional meetings also take place during the year to create further content for the website. We are looking for participants for this project.
Our focus for 2011/2012 is to further develop the Immigration Sections of the website. This will include text, video and audio information which the LIIWG will decide on. We are now looking for more members to join the LIIWG. Training in video production will be provided.
If you are interested in getting involved in this project please contact Nicola Yau.
