Information for former work permit holders - Reactivation Employment Permit Scheme
Posted: Tuesday, October 14, 2014
The Reactivation Employment Permit Scheme is a scheme for non-EEA migrants who previously had an employment permit in Ireland. Where these workers lost their permit through no fault of their own, or were badly treated or exploited in the workplace, this scheme allows the person to apply for temporary immigration permission so that they can work legally again and make an application for a Reactivation Employment Permit.
Anyone in this situation should make an application to the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) for a temporary immigration permission which will allow you to apply for the Reactivation Employment Permit.
