A number of people applying for visas for Ireland have received emails from a fraudulent email address requesting the payment on a 'Security Deposit' as proof of sufficient funds for travel to Ireland.
The fraudulent email address is inis@irelandmail.com. This email address is NOT linked to the INIS, and if you receive an email from this addres you should not reply to it. The official email address for visa application queries is visamail@justice.ie.
If you have received any email asking for your bank details or money, you should contact visamail@justice.ie to investigate.

This project is co-financed by the European Commission under the European Integration Fund
and is supported by the Office for the Promotion of Migrant Integration in the Dept of Justice & Equality & Pobal.
